Since 1982

Our Story

1982

The Country Deli was officially started by Dawn’s parents as a true neighborhood deli. It offered takeout hoagies and cheesesteaks, pinball machines, lottery tickets, newspapers, and just 4-6 tables. Dawn grew up working at the deli, learning the value of hard work and community.

1986

Don and Connie Butler transformed the deli into a full-service restaurant with expanded seating, a larger menu, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was a true family run restaurant and after Dawn and Bryan married in 1991, they worked side by side with Don and Connie to make it the Deli you know and love today!

2025

The Country Deli you love is still going strong! We continue to serve homemade food made from cherished family recipes passed down through generations. The cookie jars remain on display, and every meal is made with the same care and passion as always.
